Review: Royal Vegas Casino

rvoyalvegas_med_125x125.gifRoyal Vegas Casino has been around for a long time and it is part of the Fortune Lounge Group of casinos, which we will review at a later date. Royal Vegas has an outstanding reputation in the online gaming world and as we have said before we are committed to bringing you only respected casinos with a good track record.

Download, Install, and Setup:
The 5 MB file downloaded quit quickly on our DSL line. The software automatically installed with two clicks. The welcome screen popped up and we connected and signed up. We filled out the four screens typical of Microgaming Viper software and continued to purchase using NETeller. We purchased $50.

The only thing I did not like about their website is that there was no clear section regarding bonus offers. Clicking on some of the offers on the site took me to a download page instead of a page giving me more information about the offer.

Cashier and Bonus:

We purchased $50 using NETeller and it was immediately available in our account. Other purchasing options are: credit cards, debit cards, gaming card, NETeller, FirePay, CLICK2PAY, PrePaidATM, EveryWhereMoney, PaySpark, 900Pay, UseMyBank, Credit Cards, and EcoCard.

At signup we needed to wager our purchase 1x in order to get the bonus deposited into the account, which should happen within 24 hours of meeting the wagering requirement (this was true at time of review). We found it negative that we had to wager once through to get the bonus, and that once that happened we needed to wait another 24 hours. Furthermore, wagering requirements at the time of this review were greater than 5x. Like many other casinos Royal Vegas has also moved to the use of separate real money and bonus money accounts.

At the time of this posting Royal Vegas was featuring no bonus offer but rather a free spins countdowm.

Game room and games:
The games lobby was very simple, focusing on simple text listings of available games divided among 5 categories. Rolling over a game pops up additional information about each game.

We tried Major Millions first because the jackpot was at about 1 million dollars. One of their strengths are their progressive slots which are a great way to pass the time and get back any money you may have lost at another game. In one of the pulls I won 40.00, which increased my $50 deposit into $80. Slots can be kind of mindless but they are definitely fun.

Like other Microgaming casinos gaming history is offered through the paycheck feature which you can access using the check mark button on the game room.

Support:
Royal Vegas support was very good and responsive when we tested it. We tried their phone support, which is available 24/7. Email support is also available either through regular email or through the gaming software. We received a reply to a software problem in less than 10 minutes. Their phone support, which I recommend everyone use when a casino offers it is available toll free in many countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Israel, Germany, Portugal, Hong Kong, Italy, and France. Talk about reaching out and touching someone.
