Virtual City Casino is based on Microgaming software. The software downloaded in a few minutes on our DSL line and it basically installs itself with very little user interaction. The games are numerous as with other Micrograming casinos. There are several types of poker, more than 10 different slot machines, about 3 progressive jackpot machines, and a few other bells and whistles.
Signup and connection to their servers was a cinch. We took advantage of the free $10 bonus if you register with a credit card, regardless of whether you buy anything or not later on. We did not like the fact the the email to get our free $10 did not arrive for over 45 minutes! We will assume that since it was a weekend things were kind of busy. But alas when the time passed there was the email telling me I had been awarded the $10 new user signup promotion. If you then go on and deposit another $100 then they'll give you another $40 free. Get another $20 totally FREE just for making a deposit using NETeller or Click2Pay.
Like most other online casinos your bonus is put into a bonus account. A Player's total account balance consists of a cash account balance and a bonus account balance. A Player's bonus account cannot be cashed in, but can be used to place wagers. A Player's cash account may be cashed in at any time. Bonus amounts credited to a Player’s bonus account are subject to 30 times play through before they may be cashed in. Different games played may contribute a different percentage of the play through - up to 100%, towards the required play-through.
I liked the fact that the promo added my comp points automatically and I did not have to fill out any forms to claim it. I simply clicked on a link in the email I got, used the username and password supplied (they let you change the default password once you log in which you should do for your security) and I clicked on the nice picture with all the dollars to turn my 1,000 VIP comp points into cash.
When I logged back into the casino I freaked because the balance was still 0. Then I checked at the casino rewards site and the transfer could take as long as 2 hours! Thankfully I gave it 5 minutes and when I logged back in again there were $10, REAL, FREE DOLLARS in my account. Cool! :)
I checked out the Treasure Nile Progressive Slot. I was greeted by a note about symbols and began trying my luck. I liked the graphics and sounds very much but I was not very lucky at this. Therefore I moved to roulette. I found the roulette spin was way too long but the graphics were good as well. I enjoyed roulete because I was able to recover my loss in Slots.
In the long run I administered my $10 well and I was able to enjoy myself for about an hour trying to figure out how and where to win back what I had lost. At the end of the day only $2 where left in my account. That's the way the games work and the point is to have fun. If you are at a casino to get rich quick you might as well play lotto.
We tested support with a few questions about bonus rules and limits and they were very helpful.
SUPPORT
We tried their phone support which is available 24/7. Email support is also available. Their phone support, which I recommend everyone use when a casino offers it is available toll free in many countries. Talk about reaching out and touching someone.
